Trifecta Weekend Writing Challenge: A 33-Word Letter of Apology Try #2

For this week’s challenge, you have to write a letter of apology in exactly 33 words. Addresses, salutations, closings, etc. (should you wish to include them) do not count in the 33 words.

Try #2

What happened to your shockingly-sensational, silk sari sipping Seven-up in the surrey at six on Saturday certainly sucks seriously.

Super sorry about your sari, Sarah.

P.S.  Oh and sorry about the Salmonella too.

Sid

Sarah

  1. Ouch! Well, better 7-up than Coke, in the case of a yellow sari…. good one.. if a bit alliterative (right word? hmm… perhaps I mean sublimely sibilant…) 🙂

  2. Hahahaha! I’m glad that you worked the word, “Salmonella” into the apology. It wouldn’t have been the same without it. Sarah is much more relatable now that I picture her wretching over a toilet bowl!

  3. My sincere apology for the fracas caused when I lost my diamong earring at your salon. You called to say you found it. My thought, “yeah, right; substitute in progress.” Pleasantly surprised untrue.

  4. Here goes a ‘rookie attempt…. I am cetainly sorry that such a shockingly, disturbing accident should happen to your superb car being crushed between a cement truck and a garbage truck that resulted in it being just trash.. Had to try! lol Diane

    • Bravo Diane! Haha! Are you sure you’re a rookie? You should post it at the Trifecta site! I highly encourage you to go for it! The link is at the top of the post . . . Good luck! 🙂

Please leave a comment. I need help finishing my sentences.
