How to Tell if You Act Like an Aging Boomer

You don’t worry about your senior discount because you know they already gave it to you.

Your grandkids tell you a funny story about their teacher who’s an old lady like you.

Store clerks call you honey or sweetie and also automatically put your groceries in two bags so you can carry them.

Drivers somehow magically know you‘re a Boomer no matter how fast you try to go.

Somebody somewhere has suggested you get a life alert.

Neighbors worry you’ll be spending Christmas alone.

You don’t own a water bottle.

When you get a puppy people worry it’ll outlive you.

Your grandkids say they like to rest their head on your arm because it’s as soft a pillow.

You tell someone your age and they don’t remark on how young you look for it.

You find yourself making a lot of excuses about how your electronics just aren’t working right lately.

You use your real name as a screen name with your real picture.

Someone remarks that your blog design is “old school”.

You have a blog.

The only thing you’ve done to keep up with the times is incorporate the word “sus” into your vocabulary.

You have a feeling emojis don’t mean what you think they do. (Oh look! I got a chocolate kiss for that comment!)

You now count squeegeeing off the inside of the shower door and picking up the stuffings of a dog toy as part of a healthy exercise regime.

The only thing you use on your apple watch is Timer and Steps (and sometimes heart rate if you’re feeling kind of weird).

If you hear someone yelling “slow down Buster” at Costco it’s coming from you

And the best way to tell if you act like an aging Boomer:

You make a list on how to tell if you act like an aging Boomer.
