Trifecta 33-Word Writing Challenge: Howard’s Haircut

Hello Dear Readers! This weekend’s 33-Word Trifecta Writing Challenge was simply to write 33 words incorporating some hyperbole in there somewhere.

 Howard’s Haircut

“There.  Finished!” The hairdresser handed Howard a mirror.  “Do you like it?”

Howard thought he resembled a cross between a Sasquatch on meth during a Tsunami and Shirley Temple.

“Yes.” he said anyway.

  1. Haha! Sounds like Howard is a little passive!
Shirley Temple + Sasquatch = Nick Nolte!! Only you could think of something like that!
    Great job, Linda

PS- lately I feel like Sasquatch – Shirley Temple!! Lol!

  2. I had a haircut like that once. Cost me $75 from the foo foo place. It then cost me another $12 at Cost Cutters to fix it. After that I bought a $50 shaver and have shaved my head ever since, much to my wife’s chagrin.

    • LOL!! That exact same thing happened to my Son in law. He always shaves his head now, and it looks good on him, but he also shaves his three year old son’s head too which broke this grandmother’s heart! 😀

P.S. And judging from you pic, I’d say you pull off the shaved look pretty well! 😀

  3. “Howard’s hair was horrendous!” Henry howled hurriedly to Harriet. Harriet huffed, “Henry, hush.”

An alliteration addition to your tale.

  4. I almost screamed in laughter when I scrolled the pictures. Perfect. And we’ve all been in that chair and said “yes” but thinking no.
