Trifecta 33-Word Challenge: Little Horribella

Hello Dear Readers.  Today is the Trifecta 33-word challenge.  Today’s challenge is to incorporate  an example of onomatopoeia –words that sound like what they mean –like splash, whoosh, and yadda yadda.

Little Horribella

Little Horribella pulled the string on her talking doll.

“Oink!”

Horribella whacked it and tried again.

“Ding-a-ling-a-ling-a-ling!”

“Oh this stupid doll!” Horribella lit the dynamite.

KERPOW!

“Ah! that’s more like it.” Horribella said.

  1. I think little Horribella and I would get along just fine!

I felt the same way about barbies that people kept giving me and they ended up being sacrificed to the great spider god who ruled my room for 6 months.

    • Haha Jennifer. Oh so that’s what happened to my Barbies! I forgot to give the spider god some sacrifices! HA! ( I guess they were never satisfied with just my own skin!) 😀

  2. I did things like this all the time to my barbie dolls. That’s when my parents stopped buying me dolls and started buying me more books ❤

    • Haha! Hey that would make a nice bumper sticker. Maybe I should develop a line of Horribella dolls, just so I can put that bumper sticker on my car! 😀

  3. I love her name. I’ve felt the same way about things that don’t work right. No other solution that I can see. Way to go Horribella!

    • Hahaha! I wish I would have thought her up for the super hero challenge last weekend. 😀 Oh to have some dynamite for those irritating inconveniences in life!

Please leave a comment. I need help finishing my sentences.
