Hello Dear Readers. Today is the Trifecta 33-word challenge. Today’s challenge is to incorporate an example of onomatopoeia –words that sound like what they mean –like splash, whoosh, and yadda yadda.
Little Horribella
Little Horribella pulled the string on her talking doll.
“Oink!”
Horribella whacked it and tried again.
“Ding-a-ling-a-ling-a-ling!”
“Oh this stupid doll!” Horribella lit the dynamite.
KERPOW!
“Ah! that’s more like it.” Horribella said.

Until next time . . . I love you
Love the sketch. Horribella? Not so much. Hah!
Hah! Thanks Addie! 😀
Horribella might need counseling! (I think she’d make an excellent girlfriend for Sid – the wretched kid in Toy Story who tortured his toys.)
Ha!
I think Horibella was upset that the doll, which looked almost exactly like her, wasn’t quite as cute.
I had a blast reading that.
Behavior so very fitting with her name. You “dark” makes me laugh!
blasted Horribella!
I love little Horribella. Industrious kid. Kerpow! Problem solved. Hope the folks don’t piss her off! 😉
Loved it….. Sometimes i feel like little Horribella…Diane
ha ha! Thanks for making us laugh, Linda!
So glad to hear it! 😀
I think little Horribella and I would get along just fine!
I felt the same way about barbies that people kept giving me and they ended up being sacrificed to the great spider god who ruled my room for 6 months.
Haha Jennifer. Oh so that’s what happened to my Barbies! I forgot to give the spider god some sacrifices! HA! ( I guess they were never satisfied with just my own skin!) 😀
Is it wrong of me to love Horribella? Lol!!! I think I have a touch of her in me. 😀
LOL! Lisa, I think I do too. Everybody needs to let their Horribella shine once in a while. 😀
I did things like this all the time to my barbie dolls. That’s when my parents stopped buying me dolls and started buying me more books ❤
Haha! You’re parents were very wise! 😀
Can I have a Horribella? She sounds like fun?
Certainly, Sarah Ann! Take two! 😀
Horribella— with a name like that it can never go right.
Haha! Hey that would make a nice bumper sticker. Maybe I should develop a line of Horribella dolls, just so I can put that bumper sticker on my car! 😀
How aptly she is named, lol!Horribella is terribella;-)
Hahah! Oh I love the name Terribella too! That will have to be her twin sister! Good one Atreyee! 😀
Thanks Atreyee. I’ve known a few real life Horribellas in my day and they were definitely Terribella! ;D
I think Horribella’s cousin is my neighbor… horrid kid he was too.
Oh boy, I can relate Tara! I think there’s one in every neighborhood. LOL! 😀
I love her name. I’ve felt the same way about things that don’t work right. No other solution that I can see. Way to go Horribella!
Hahaha! I wish I would have thought her up for the super hero challenge last weekend. 😀 Oh to have some dynamite for those irritating inconveniences in life!
Horribella… rhymes with Cinderella… but ohh so different! Nice post 🙂
It does doesn’t it? HA! Now I’m going to be singing the Cinderella Disney song substituting Horribella from now on! 😀
Great name. Glad I don’t know her! : )
hahaha, Kymm! I don’t know her either, but I do know a few little kids who might be related to her. 😀
Love the drawing of Horribella!
Thanks Pink! ! 😀
Ah! Thank you Pink! 😀 So good to see you! 😀
