This Weekend’s Trifecta Writing Challenge is to finish these 33 words with 33 words of your own:
“There’s nothing cute about it,” he said. The register of his voice indicated decision more so than discussion.
She disagreed heartily and privately, staring past his head and out the window behind him.
The elephant caravan was just cresting the hill. “We can still make it if we hurry!” Barbara pleaded.
“I told you! I go nowhere without my nose, Barbara!” Bozo shouted angrily. “Nowhere!”
Haha! I thought, if anyone can complete this story with an elephant caravan, it’s Linda Vernon. Nice job! : )
Thanks Lisa
DRAT! Yours is better than mine! I’ll get you next week, Linda Vernon!
Oh no. Yours is the very best entry this weekend (with Sandy’s a close second!)
Seriously, thank you for exposing the darkside of clownery. Really, they can be quite mercurial!
Loved it, and great pic to boot!
Thanks Larry 🙂
hee hee. I need to check out what Guapo wrote then 🙂
Definitely!
I find myself looking forward to reading your entries for a good dose of LV Humor! I love that Bozo shouted angrily — he’s not quite himself without that nose.
Sandra thank you! That’s music to my ears! (0r eyes?) 🙂
Hi,
I love how you brought the clown into it all, well done. 😀
Well you know what they say when all else fails bring in the clown(s)! At least I think that’s what they say — well if not they should!
Liked it! Excellent touch with the photo… perfect.
Thanks Ted! I’m so glad you liked it!
got your nose! 🙂
Haha! Perfect comment, Barbara! I don’t know how you put up with Bozo!!
For heaven’s sake Bozo, hurry with the make-up already. I know your face is registered and all, but really, no good clown is late for his own circus.
Haha! That’s telling him, Jesterqueen, I doubt he’s listening though.
Funny entry! I had no idea a missing nose was so serious to a clown 🙂
Oh yes Jannat, Seltzer bottles are also high on their list of essentials! 🙂
Bozo as a diva. Love it!
Haha! Yes! Maybe I’ll have to write a tell-all next! 🙂
I guffawed. Nice bit of work, missus!!!
Oh Addie yay! I’m always shooting for the guffaw! So glad you liked it!
See. I find this totally believable. I will never look at a clown the same way again. Loved it! Hilarious!
Haha! People who find this totally believable are my kind of people! Thanks mommy patient! Interesting moniker, by the way. 🙂
Totally surreal. Wonderful!
Thank you so much! So glad you liked it!
Wonderful! Thank you. Blessings to you
Oh no, not the nose!!!
Thanks so much for linking up to Trifextra. Remember, this weekend’s entries are being judged by the Trifecta community, so I hope you were able to cast your votes. Winners will be announced with the Monday post. Hope to see you back then.
Bobo is a big baby. Maybe he should quit and get a job as Ronald MacDonald. Great job mom!
Thanks honey! And you’re right he’s a big spoilt brat as they say in jolly old England (why England is getting involved in this comment I’ll never know!)
I laughed so hard, my nose fell off. I’ll never smell again– which is incredible considering how seldom I bathe… : P
Ha ha! Well I guess it’s just one of those win win situations (for us all)! 🙂
This was a hoot! I loved how you redirected the challenge from drama to laughter in 33 words or less!
Thank Erin!
