Hello Dear Readers! Today we have a Halloweenie Trifecta Writing Challenge. Our challenge is to write a 33-word response to the story of Felicia Felix-Mentor.
In 1937, a naked woman was found limping through the streets of Haiti. Upon interrogation, she was unable to give any details as to her identity. The woman was eventually identified in hospital as Felicia Felix-Mentor. The only issue is that Felicia Felix-Mentor had been dead for nearly twenty years. Felicia was, therefore, a zombie.
My Dinner Party in Honor of Felicia Felix-Mentor
Felicia Felix-Mentor stared straight ahead fingering her Beef Stroganoff.
“More tea Felicia dear?” I asked.
“I’m dead.” Felicia repeated for the hundredth time.
I sighed and resigned myself to a very long evening.

Until next time . . . I love you
lol this is cute 😀
Ha! What a great response!
Ha, loved this one.
I love visiting you! It’s a guaranteed guffaw!
spooky (*_*)
I actually guffawed at this, and I am not ashamed to admit it.
Yeah! The deadly boring dinner party! Great response. Caption is perfect too!
Always love how your mind circles around the prompt and zeroes in hitting the bullseye.
Thank you for the wonderful compliment Stephanie B! 😀
Great story. Thanks for stopping by,
Thanks Debra! 😀
Perhaps if you’d made the stroganoff look a bit more like brains, she’d have been more…animated.
Why didn’t I think of that? Where was my brain?
The dinner guest from hell!
Haha! Good call Kymm!
Oh my. Very scary perspective. “I’m dead.” Hooookaaaaaaay … where do you take an answer like that?! Fun …
Ha Karen! Talk about a boring evening. I’ve actually spent a few evenings with people that boring. And you just want to fall face forward into your beef stroganoff!
You crack me up.
Yay! glad to hear it! 😀
Look on the bright side. At least she didn’t ask for brains.
Dang! *snapping fingers* I should have had her eating Brain Stroganoff! HA! 😀
Hey, that’s what rewrites are for!

Ha yes! 😀
Boy, did that conjure up some fearful images!! Now I’m really dreading Family Thanksgiving Dinner… : P
Short, but sweeter’n Sugared Brains– brilliant!! : )
Haha Mark! I know what you mean. This year at Thanksgiving Dinner I’m going to try and seat all the Zombies at their own card table. LOL! 😀
Oh man… I am very pleased I was not at that dinner party! Hee hee! 🙂
