The Earth
was this weekend’s 33-word Trifecta Challenge prompt.
Earth’s Annual Checkup
I’ve got this migraine earthquake, Doc.
Hmm. . . your temperature’s high.
I’m itchy too.
Because your scalp’s crawling with people.
What?!?Β Gross!
I’m sending you home with some prescription mega-hurricane medicated shampoo.
Thanks Doc.

Stuck in real life. Haha! You poor thing! Looking forward to reading your story too! π
Glad u understand Linda;-)Have you posted your’s?Am still not familiar with the names & blogs-so match the following,is a tough one for me,lol!
And there are a lot more entrants just this last challenge than there have ever been. So I would imagine it gets kind of confusing. But you’re doing great! π
Thk u:-)
Gross! Damn those louses and vermin!
Ha ha! I think it’s save to say that the human race is patchy with the heartbreak of louses and vermin psoriasis!
Oh my Cyber Mom – your creativity is unparalleled. But um…ewww on the scalp crawling with people thing lol. β€
Thanks Lizzie. It’s kind of creepy to think of us as an infestation, even though we kind of are! HA! π
lol very creative but I’m scared for the human race!
Ha! Well everybody is always worrying about the condition of the earth, but the earth will survive no problem. It’s the human race that needs to worry! π
you always make me laugh! thank you!
Ah!! So glad you liked it Bucky! π
Hi,
Love this, very well done. (Bonza) π
Bonza! I’m guessing that means bullseye? π
It means fantastic, excellent. π
Bonza!! Oh I love it. I’m going to start say that everywhere I go. Ha!
That’s one was to deal with overpopulation. Perhaps, the good Doc can prescribe some anti- depressants too! Another great one! π
Ha aha! Lumdog! Anti-depressants all around! I’m buying! π
NOT too soon.
Hopefully not. I don’t think I’d feel comfortable with total destruction unless it was a good years away give or take.
Fabulous take on the prompt! I particularly like the bit about earth’s reaction to hearing its scalp is crawling with people. Very creative!
Thank you Suzanne. I’m glad you liked it. π
I look forward to your posts every week! I love your writing!
Thank you Deanabo. That’s so nice to hear! π
Love the clip art. π
Well, coming from you, I consider that high praise indeed Clip Snark! π
It’s all been said before, but I never tire of saying it, cute, clever, funny as hell, and add the graphics this week, and it all adds up to Earthtastic!
Hahaha! Earthtastic! I love it. Thank you so much for your wonderful comment! Gosh it made me feel good, Stephanie! π
I couldn’t figure out this prompt but you got it…Diane
Ah thank you Diane, but I notice that you’re going great guns on the WordPress prompts! Way to go! I have yet to conquer on of those! π
Sometimes the prompt do help to get the brain going and it does bring forth something ‘okay’ and other times not such inspirational blogs….but at least the writing continues.
You handle the trifecta and also your wonderful stories that boggle my mind with your creativity…You probably couldn’t fit much more in….Diane
Oh thanks Diane. It can get dicey trying to have a life and blog! Lizzie and I were just lamenting the fact that there is no such thing as boredom anymore. Sometimes I miss just being bored.
Global warming. Over-population! Natural disasters! And, we are all chuckling away to ourselves. A virtuoso display of writing!
Oh my gosh! I gotta say I really love your comment! You’re making me feel really really good Cobbie! LOL!! Thank you! π
Thank you for sparing the details of its visit to the proctologist.
Hahahaha! Now that’s a picture worth a thousand Trifecta Challenges! π
Very clever! Loved it π
Thank you Lisa. I’m glad you enjoyed it and thanks for coming by to check it out! π
Too funny! I love your unique take on the prompt. Just when you think there’s nowhere new you can take it, you figure out a way to get there π
Haha! JannaT. That kind of thinking tends to work out well for me on these Trifecta Challenges, unfortunately not so much with lmy sewing and my drawing! HA π
fun take on the prompt π
Thank you Uneven. And Congratulations to you for last week’s win btw! π
Loved this. So cool. Love your cleverness. π
So glad you liked it Scriptor Obscura! π
Reminded me of this six-word story:
Earth is sick, it has humans.
It has humans . . . interesting story.
I can tell ya, that mega-hurricane medicated shampoo works really well. Too funny.
Oh it sounds like you’ve had some experience with it! Ha! I’ll have to give it a try! π
lol Great take on the prompt! (:
Thank you Draug! π
And if that doesn’t work, I wonder if the doctor will prescribe two Mayan apocalypses (and call him in the morning. π )
Hahahah! Perfect! I certainly hope so, Michael!! π
LOL – poor Earth – too many scabby people on it’s skin! π
It’s kind of making me itchy just thinking about it! HA!
Ha! Great take on the prompt, gotta love it.
Ah thanks Renee. So glad you liked it. π
whenever I need a good giggle, I prescribe myself a visit to your site. Fun fun!
Ah! What a nice compliment. Thank you! π
Love it! Does that make me a louse? π
Sadly yes. Or possibly a flea! π
*hahaha* LOVE LOVE LOVE this.
I’m so glad to hear that. Thank you Christine! π
Now I am scratching my head. Wait, no. Better learn to fly.
Hey, maybe we’ll evolve wings, Kymm. Now that would be cool! π
I laughed so hard, all the things that were crawling on my scalp fell off– what a relief! Oh, well– time sweep the floor. A lot… : P
Well, in the olden days, hairspray was just head lice with a job. I’m so glad we have hairspray instead nowadays!. And give my regards to the little fellas Mark!
