33-Word Trifecta Challenge: The Gingerbread Man and the Lucky Charm

Hello Dear Readers!  Today the 33-word Trifecta Writing Challenge is to write something prompted by the phrase:  third time’s the charm.

The Gingerbread Man and the Lucky Charm

“Hey! Magically delicious dude!”

“I’m a lucky charm, not a box of cereal.”

“Better blow out them candles!”

“Shut-up!”

“Star-light, Star-bright, first—AWKKKKKK!”

“Third time! The charm’s going to have to kill you.”

Gingerbread man murdered
“Stupid pathetic Gingerbread Man.”

Until next time . . . I love you

  1. Poor Gingerbread man just can’t win! (I like to bite his head off first when I have him in my sights…) I loved this one!!

  2. I’ve never liked the Gingerbread Man. Haughtiness is not endearing. Could’ve figured he’d wind up looking like one of those chalk outlines on SVU. Linda, thanks for letting the truth be known.

  3. LOL!!! I’m with Lumdog, he had it coming. The Gingerbread Man was always a show off. I never liked him. Maybe next time I make a batch of gingerbread I’ll just make the heads, or, better yet, I’ll make ’em headless. That’ll shut ’em up. Bwhaha!
