Hello Dear Readers! Today the 33-word Trifecta Writing Challenge is to write something prompted by the phrase: third time’s the charm.
The Gingerbread Man and the Lucky Charm
“Hey! Magically delicious dude!”
“I’m a lucky charm, not a box of cereal.”
“Better blow out them candles!”
“Star-light, Star-bright, first—AWKKKKKK!”
“Third time! The charm’s going to have to kill you.”
* * *
Until next time . . . I love you

Sooo there’s a dark side… 😉
Ha! Yes, unfortunately, there always seems to be a dark side ;D
my image of you is shattered….lol
Gosh. Now I’m really depressed, I guess I’ll have to go cheer myself up by killing . . . uh er.. . I mean eating some gingerbread men. 😀
i think killing may be more appropriate but you could redeem yourself if you let me in on the action! 😉
Ha! I’ve got half a dozen gingerbread men all ready to ship off to you Bucky! Have at ’em! 😀
oh you know i will!!
Bhahaha! *munch munch*
you know it head first!!
So now it’s the gingerbread man….who next Santa…. lol Diane
Ahahahah! 😀 Maybe . . . ;D
I should have run as fast as he could.
But you can’t catch him cause he’s the Man they call Gingerbread!
Umm… I’m not sure how to react to this. It’s just so… deliciously evil!
(See what I did there? “Deliciously”? HAW HAW HAW!)
Not only do I see what you did there I love what you did there! LOL!! 😀
Ahhhh! I love the photo and the response! Thanks for linking up, Linda!
The pleasure was mine! 😀
Poor Gingerbread man just can’t win! (I like to bite his head off first when I have him in my sights…) I loved this one!!
Ha ha Valerie! Now you’ve got me hungry for Gingerbread man heads! 😀
What a creative take! The charm will kill you. I love it!
Ah Thank you Steph! 😀
Thank you Bjorn! 😀
That’ll teach the gingerbread man to mouth off… Love your creative take on the prompt Linda!
Ha! I know. I’m leaving the mouths out of my next batch of gingerbread men! 😀
I’ve never liked the Gingerbread Man. Haughtiness is not endearing. Could’ve figured he’d wind up looking like one of those chalk outlines on SVU. Linda, thanks for letting the truth be known.
Ha ha! Well what can I say, Lumdog, I’m courageous like that, or maybe I mean contagious . . .probably both! 😀
LOL!!! I’m with Lumdog, he had it coming. The Gingerbread Man was always a show off. I never liked him. Maybe next time I make a batch of gingerbread I’ll just make the heads, or, better yet, I’ll make ’em headless. That’ll shut ’em up. Bwhaha!
Hahahahahahah!! LOL!! Gosh I love that idea!! 😀
