Limerick Lamentation

Limerick Lamentation

“Don’t get me wrong. I like being tall . . . but not THAT tall.”

There once was a girl named Doreen

Who was as tall as a mutant string bean

Even when kneeling

Her head hit the ceiling

And now both her ears have gangrene

    • Haha Bravo Rick! She sounds even more fetching than the Star Trek Green Girl!

And I started your book, Becomes the Happy Man, yesterday, and I have to say it’s the most original book I’ve ever read! And so far soo good! 😀

      • Great! 🙂 I didn’t want to say anything before you started it, but I was curious what you would think of it at first. Most readers say they find it a bit difficult in the beginning but after a chapter or two they get into it. But you already knew it was “provocatively lean” I think you said, so you had an idea going into it what to expect. I’m very pleased you’re reading it!

  1. Yes, I did have an idea going in that it was going to be different. (Well even the title is completely different which I love.) I was delighted when it started to take a turn for the worse! And the humor in it is very satisfying. As a writer, you’ve definitely honed your craft.

  2. LOL Mark!! Bravo! I love it. I’m going to have to post this up on my wall! How wonderful it is! And they do all look like noodles! I think Peanuts brain folds are naturally curly!!

Please leave a comment. I need help finishing my sentences.
