Doreen needs an antibiotic.
Gangrene made her ears go psychotic.
Her boyfriend lay dead
At the foot of her bed
‘Cause he found her green lobes so erotic.
Great! 🙂 I didn’t want to say anything before you started it, but I was curious what you would think of it at first. Most readers say they find it a bit difficult in the beginning but after a chapter or two they get into it. But you already knew it was “provocatively lean” I think you said, so you had an idea going into it what to expect. I’m very pleased you’re reading it!
Yes, I did have an idea going in that it was going to be different. (Well even the title is completely different which I love.) I was delighted when it started to take a turn for the worse! And the humor in it is very satisfying. As a writer, you’ve definitely honed your craft.
There once was a writer named Vernon
Her Peanuts was always a-churning
The people she doodles
The lines look like noodles
I roar and for more I be yearning!! : )
LOL Mark!! Bravo! I love it. I’m going to have to post this up on my wall! How wonderful it is! And they do all look like noodles! I think Peanuts brain folds are naturally curly!!
Poor Doreen. She would not have that problem if she was as short as I am. 😉 That rhymed too. 😀
Ha ha ! Imelda. I’m guessing you’re about 5′ 2″ just like me! 😀

Haha Bravo Rick! She sounds even more fetching than the Star Trek Green Girl!
And I started your book, Becomes the Happy Man, yesterday, and I have to say it’s the most original book I’ve ever read! And so far soo good! 😀

Thanks for the compliment! 🙂 I hope you find the quality consistent throughout.
Nothing like a little limericking to get the morning started right!
So glad you liked it! 😀
