This weekend’s Trifecta Challenge is to write 33 words of our own to build upon the phrase “On the count of three” . . .
On the Count of Three . . .
Swan Lake drifted through the air unheard over the clamorous bewilderment of convulsive upheaval causing Madam Pimpipski to rethink her dreams of hippopotami water ballet.

Until next time . . . I love you
lol awww
Hey! Congratulations on this week’s win btw! That was such a great story!!
LOL!!! Love the caption!!
Thanks Lisa. I was reminded of the name Maurie ever since I saw the most adorable two year old boy named Maurie at the park last week. If Jackie finds out she’s having a boy I hope she names him Maurie! (I think they like the name Henry– which is cute too, but I’m going to put my two cents worth in for Maurie! I’d just love to have a Lily and Maurie running around here! 😀
Another dream bites the dust. C’est la vie. 😛
Ah yes Michael, such is the cruelness of life!
Ooh, ooh! Can I play Miss Linda? Huh? Can I?
Jim needed only a few precious seconds to escape. They set the timer carefully on the TNT charge and looked at their watches. Should go off on the count of…blamo! Premature evisceration.
LOL Rich!! Bravo!
Becky saw what Jim was doing and started backing away not knowing that there was a log behind her, she tripped and blamo!. Premature baby (oops forgot to mention she was pregnant) . . .
I think she should hang in there. Just turn up the speakers Mme, Pimp, if I may be so casual as to use your infamous nickname. I enjoyed this Linda. Sweet but still funny!
Haha Lumdog! I think Mme Pimp is liking the nickname. A girl’s got to have somethingn to hang on to when her hippotami water ballet dreams fall through! 😀
You freakin’ amaze me Linda
xx
Sooz!!!
Ah Sooz! Thank you! 😀 Muah!
Loved this. I could completely see the hippos in tutus.
Ha ha Tina! There’s really nothing like a hippo in a tutu to brighten one’s day. 😀 Thanks for coming by!
Hippopotami water ballet…now there’s something I never would have imagined before reading your 33 words 🙂
I love the challenges. You never know what’s going to happen with us huh?
LOVE the photo caption! 🙂
Thanks Mairzeebp! I gotta say he does look like he’s saying that! That look in his eye cracks me up! 😀 Thanks for coming by!
Note to self – avoid Linda’s posts while drinking coffee.
Ah! Coffee spewed is a day well lived! Thanks Guaps! 😀
Those chubby things did a great job in Fantasia.
Oh that right! And it made a last impression on me! 😀
Is Maurie pronouced Morrie? If so I can only think of those boring “Weekend with Morrie” books.
I guess I spelled it wrong. Did you read Weekend with Morrie? I keep seeing it at the thrift store. Maybe that means something.
Arf!! My hippos are shaking, along with my shouldos and posterios. It’s the best kind of workout there is! : )
Hippo Hurray Mark!! I think that’s how you get washboard abs too! 😀
