Dear Readers! Where is the time going? I get up, I have my coffee and viola! Noon!
Today I’m only posting this little limerick from the archives! Please enjoy it! (I’ll feel guilty if you don’t!)
Doreen
There once was a girl named Doreen
Who was as tall as a mutant string bean
Even when kneeling
Her head hit the ceiling
And now both her ears have gangrene
Until next time . . . I love you
It is a dark place, that head of yours. Did you get my email about the schedule for Domestic Disaster Diary?
I just checked. I didn’t see it. Can you send it again to lindavernonhumor@hotmail.com?
I will once I get home. Probably got spammed.
Yikes!
How pleasant. haha
So glad you liked it, Al! 😀
😀
How magical, coffee..poof…noon! lol
string bean and gangerene ha
Where does that time go??? HA! Tomorrow I’m working on my submission to your site no matter how fast time goes by!! 😀
ahaha! i know what you mean! that’s great but don’t fry brain cells in doing so! ha!
Don’t think I’ll be looking at green bean quite the same again lol
haha! Especially not green beans with ears anyway! 😀
Can’t decide if its your art work or the limerick i like most.
Ah thanks Summers! Maybe they are like two side courses individually and when put together make a meal with a lot of string beans! 😀
yes that may be the way to go, enjoy your day.
I love both your art work and your writing!
Ah thanks so much Ronnie! 😀 What a nice comment!
This reminds me of something i’d read from “where the sidewalk ends” which I loved growing up! I hope you write more!!!
Ah! What a nice compliment! Thank you honey! 😀
I thought the lighter side of gangrene was that bits fall of and voila, you’re lighter.
with a coffee pot.
at noon.
Oh I like your positive slant on gangrene. It’s kind of like in living color leprosy I guess.
I’m thinking of having the dining room painted in ‘Heritage Gangrene’. I tried ‘Leprosy’ but it clashes with the lobster bisque.
Heritage Gangrene!! I think you’ve given me the inspiration I needed for my Zombie Martha Stewart Halloween Post. Thank you Roadwax.
Looks like she lost a shoe too, but still held onto its shoe string! A treasure of a drawing, this chick!
Ah! thanks SF. I think my scanner did some editing for me. (It’s probably going to want a raise now.) 😀
Hahahahahaha
:D!!
